Southern Cascades CSD receives approximately $210,000/year in parcel tax assessments from residents of Lassen and Modoc counties. This revenue supports the operations of our Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Division.
It costs roughly $420,000/year to provide emergency medical services to our community. The remaining funding to support EMS comes from revenue generated by our Non-Emergent Medical Transport Division (NEMT).
